This effort by my Granddaughter was simply an amazing production. I was an Educator over a forty-three year period of time. Therefore, it goes without saying that I have met many students of various abilities and achievements. I have also judged many Provincial (State)Literary Competitions for the Canadian Legion. I have seen some pretty good writing over my lifetime and I have been suitably impressed. However, Nicole Thompson's "Remember My Name" is truly a tremendous achievement for a fourteen Year old. I doubt that I could write a half decent Essay at fourteen."Remember My Name" is a very well-planned and intricately crafted Murder Mystery.
Nicole Thompson kept me interested from the first page to the very end of the Book. Her love of language is fascinating. Nicole shows an insight into human nature well beyond her years. Her modernistic style could even be suggested as being a bit mischievous!
